Red Panda Red Panda also known as Ailurus Fulgens. A type of small mammal. It is a rare animal; the estimated population of the red panda is less than 10,000. It is an in danger species! Hunting red-panda is illegal; most people hunt them for their furs (to make coats etc...) Red pandas look similar to a raccoon, but it looks more cheerful.
Red pandas are very skill full animals; they use their tails to balance and they also use their long bushy tail and wrap it around themselves during winter, because it keeps them warm. During winter, it can be the dangerous season for red pandas because of its predator, "snow leopards"
Red panda's habitat are mostly located in the "Bamboo Forest" of the Himalayan mountains of China. Also, red pandas live at the elevation of 2,000 to 4,800 meters high, WOW! This little mammal also construct their home for example like dens in the Chinese Himalayans, they mostly construct their homes/shelter out of hollow trees! Like most mammals, red pandas also like the reflection of the light like cats!

Their size is around a size of a house cat, their bushy long tails are around 18 inches. ( 46cm )
The body length of red pandas measures 50 to 60 cm.(20 to 25 inches)
Male red pandas weigh 3.7 to 6.2kg (8.2 to 14 lb) Female red pandas weigh 3 to 6.0kg. (6.6 to 13.2 lb)
Red Panda meets its needs in these following ways. Water Red panda meets its water needs by getting the water from the moister in the bamboo sticks. Or they get water from rivers/lakes in the Himalaya. Air Red panda meets their air needs by breathing fresh air on the mountains, they are not used to those air in the city because in some cities, there's a lot of pollution and the air is polluted as well. Nutrition & Energy Red panda meets its nutrition needs by eating the bamboos ( there's nutrition in the bamboos.) It meets its energy needs by sleeping in its shelter for 17 hours. Reproduction Red pandas are able to reproduce more red pandas at the age around 18 months, and they are full mature around age 2 to 3. A few days before giving birth to a baby panda, female red pandas begin to collect material, like grass, leaves, and brushwoods, to build a nest on a hollow tree or a rock crevice.
